OpenVZ Hosting Reviews

“This is a top-notch outfit – I have had a small OpenVZ VPS at RamNode for a little over two years, and it has been a 100% good experience. Performance is good, price is more than reasonable, and support is prompt, effective, and polite. Effectively 100% uptime as well.”

“Ol’ Faithful. Currently have 3 legacy OpenVZ servers spinning since 2015, and a cloud instance that I recently spun up this year. All the servers have been running great for the better part of 5 years; I have had no complaints to think of.”

OpenVZ Hosting FAQ’s

What is the difference between KVM and OpenVZ?

A KVM VPS operates as its own virtualized server independent of the host node. It does not have any functionality restrictions, however it does have more overhead than OpenVZ. OpenVZ on the other hand is constrained by the host’s node kernel, but carries less overhead in the containers.

KVM VPSs are not dedicated environments and both virtualizations share host CPU and network port among all VPSs. Only our VDSs include dedicated CPU.
