Learn how to access and use SolusVM for your OpenVZ VPS
SolusVM is the control panel for legacy OpenVZ VPS instances. It provides a web-based interface to manage your VPS, including start/stop/reboot controls, OS reinstallation, console access, and monitoring tools.
If you have a Cloud VPS instance, you should use the Cloud Control Panel at cloud.ramnode.com instead. This documentation is specifically for legacy OpenVZ instances using SolusVM.
Your SolusVM login credentials are available in several places:
The main dashboard shows:
Direct access to your VPS, similar to having a keyboard and monitor connected. Useful if you lose SSH access.
Reinstall your VPS with a new OS or the same OS. This erases all data - backup first!
Boot into a minimal environment to repair file systems, recover data, or fix boot issues.
If you're having trouble accessing your control panel, open a support ticket at clientarea.ramnode.com. Include your VPS IP address and a description of the issue.
