Accessing Your cPanel
There are several ways to access your cPanel control panel. Choose the method that works best for you.
Method 1: Via Client Area (Recommended)
- Log into the RamNode Client Area
- Click "Services" → "My Services"
- Select your shared hosting service
- Click "Login to cPanel" button
- You'll be automatically logged into cPanel
This method is recommended as you don't need to remember your cPanel credentials.
Method 2: Direct cPanel URL
You can access cPanel directly using your domain:
https://yourdomain.com:2083
or
https://yourdomain.com/cpanelMethod 3: Server Hostname
Access via your server's hostname:
https://server-hostname.ramnode.com:2083Replace "server-hostname" with your actual server hostname (found in welcome email).
Login Credentials
To log in to cPanel, you'll need:
Your cPanel username (provided in welcome email)
Your cPanel password (set during signup or provided in welcome email)
Finding Your Login Information
Your cPanel credentials are available in:
- Welcome Email - Check the email sent when your hosting was activated
- Client Area - View under your service details
- Support Ticket - Contact support if you can't locate credentials
Resetting Your Password
If you've forgotten your cPanel password, here are your options:
Option 1: Via Client Area
- Log into the Client Area
- Go to your shared hosting service
- Look for "Change Password" option
- Enter and confirm your new password
Option 2: Via cPanel Login Page
- Go to your cPanel login page
- Click "Reset Password" or "Forgot Password?"
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for reset instructions
Option 3: Contact Support
Open a support ticket at the Client Area and request a password reset. You'll need to verify your account ownership.
After Logging In
Once logged in, you'll see the cPanel dashboard with various sections:
Files
File Manager, FTP, disk usage
Databases
MySQL, phpMyAdmin
Email accounts, forwarders, autoresponders
Domains
Addon domains, subdomains, redirects
Metrics
Bandwidth, visitors, errors
Security
SSL/TLS, IP blockers, hotlink protection
Troubleshooting Login Issues
Can't Access Login Page
- Verify you're using the correct URL
- Try using the direct port 2083 URL
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Try a different browser
- Check if your domain DNS has propagated
Invalid Login Credentials
- Double-check username and password (case-sensitive)
- Make sure there are no extra spaces
- Try resetting your password
- Verify you're using cPanel credentials, not Client Area credentials
SSL Certificate Warnings
If you see an SSL warning when accessing cPanel, this is normal if using the server hostname or IP address. You can safely proceed to the login page.

- • Use a strong, unique password for cPanel
- • Never share your cPanel credentials
- • Log out when finished
- • Enable two-factor authentication if available
- • Regularly update your password
