    Mobile Email Setup

    Access your email on iPhone, iPad, and Android

    Before You Begin

    You'll need the following information to set up email on your mobile device:

    Email Address

    your-email@yourdomain.com

    Password

    Your email account password

    Incoming Server

    mail.yourdomain.com

    Outgoing Server

    mail.yourdomain.com

    iPhone & iPad Setup (iOS)

    1Add Account

    1. Open the Settings app
    2. Tap Mail
    3. Tap Accounts
    4. Tap Add Account
    5. Tap Other
    6. Tap Add Mail Account

    2Enter Account Information

    • Name: Your name (how it appears to recipients)
    • Email: your-email@yourdomain.com
    • Password: Your email password
    • Description: Account name (e.g., "Work Email")

    Tap Next

    3Choose IMAP or POP3

    At the top, select IMAP (recommended) or POP3:

    • IMAP: Syncs across all devices, keeps mail on server
    • POP3: Downloads to device, removes from server

    4Incoming Mail Server

    • Host Name: mail.yourdomain.com
    • User Name: your-email@yourdomain.com
    • Password: Your email password

    5Outgoing Mail Server

    • Host Name: mail.yourdomain.com
    • User Name: your-email@yourdomain.com
    • Password: Your email password

    Tap Next and wait for verification

    6Configure SSL Settings (Important!)

    1. After adding the account, go to SettingsMailAccounts
    2. Tap on your new account
    3. Tap Account
    4. Tap Advanced
    5. Set Use SSL to ON
    6. Set Server Port to 993 (for IMAP) or 995 (for POP3)
    7. Go back and tap SMTP under Outgoing Mail Server
    8. Tap on mail.yourdomain.com
    9. Set Use SSL to ON
    10. Set Server Port to 465

    Android Setup

    1Add Account

    1. Open the Email or Gmail app
    2. Tap Menu (three lines) → Settings
    3. Tap Add Account
    4. Select Other or Personal (IMAP/POP)

    2Enter Email Address

    • Enter your full email address
    • Tap Manual Setup (or Next if automatic setup doesn't work)

    3Choose Account Type

    Select IMAP (recommended) or POP3

    4Incoming Server Settings

    • Username: your-email@yourdomain.com
    • Password: Your email password
    • Server: mail.yourdomain.com
    • Port: 993 (IMAP with SSL) or 995 (POP3 with SSL)
    • Security type: SSL/TLS

    Tap Next

    5Outgoing Server Settings

    • SMTP Server: mail.yourdomain.com
    • Port: 465
    • Security type: SSL/TLS
    • Require sign-in: Yes
    • Username: your-email@yourdomain.com
    • Password: Your email password

    Tap Next

    6Account Options

    • Set sync frequency
    • Choose to get notifications
    • Name the account

    Tap Done

    IMAP vs POP3

    IMAP (Recommended)

    • • Email stays on the server
    • • Syncs across all devices
    • • Folder structure is maintained
    • • Better for multiple devices

    POP3

    • • Downloads email to device
    • • Can be set to keep or delete from server
    • • No sync between devices
    • • Better for single device use

    Troubleshooting

    Can't Connect

    Double-check server name (mail.yourdomain.com)

    Authentication Failed

    Verify username is full email address

    Can't Send

    Ensure SMTP authentication is enabled

    Certificate Errors

    Make sure SSL is properly configured

    Wrong Port

    Use ports listed in the reference section above

    Getting Server Information from cPanel

    1. Log in to cPanel
    2. Go to Email Accounts
    3. Click Connect Devices next to your email
    4. View the mail client configuration settings
