What happens when you use all your allocated bandwidth depends on whether you have a Cloud instance or SolusVM (Legacy) VPS.
Once your cloud instance uses all of its allocated bandwidth, it will begin to accrue overages:
$0.004 per GB of overage traffic
Your service continues running without interruption
Cloud instances don't suspend when you exceed bandwidth - they simply charge for overages. This means your services stay online even during traffic spikes.
If your SolusVM VPS uses all of its bandwidth for the month:
SolusVM VPS are suspended immediately upon reaching bandwidth limits. To avoid downtime, monitor your usage and purchase additional bandwidth before you run out.

Content Delivery Networks like CloudFlare, Fastly, or AWS CloudFront can dramatically reduce your origin server bandwidth by caching content at edge locations.

For Cloud instances, create a private network to transfer data between your instances for free. This doesn't count toward bandwidth limits.
No need to purchase additional bandwidth - overages are automatically billed at $0.004/GB. You can upgrade your instance to a plan with more included bandwidth if you consistently exceed your allocation.
